Well, we just got back from spending a week in San Diego with our next door neighbors who have become close friends of ours. We had a wonderful time and went to Sea World, Wild Animal Park, Sea World again, Legoland, and of course, the beach!!! It was our first "family" vacation with all 4 of us...Mackenzie & Savannah did great and loved every minute of it!
Savannah has been home with us for 6 weeks now! It feels like she's been here with us forever and you would really never know that she only joined us a few short weeks ago! God is so good and so gracious, she has had zero problems adjusting to her new life here in the US and we are so thankful that God has blessed our family with her! We cannot wait to see what God has in store for our future as a family!!! Maybe we'll be blessed again with another little one down the road!
We are still amazed by Savannah...God chose her specifically for our family...He wanted us to be her parents! It is so awesome to be a part of God's miracle of adoption! The love He pours into our hearts for our children is amazing and endless! We love both our girls with all of our hearts and we know without a doubt, that God gave both of them to us for a reason. Even though they came to us differently, one by birth, one by adoption, we feel blessed to call them our children! They will be our daughters forever! Praise God!
I am posting a few pictures from our vacation...more pictures to come! I know that my friend Laura has some great shots of the girls on her camera, but I haven't gotten copies from her yet! Enjoy the pictures! Happy 4th of July a day late!
Also, congratulations to my friend Bethany who just got her PINK slip! They finally get to bring their son Anthony home from Guatemala! Their appointment date is July 17! Anthony was born on May 25, just 2 days before Savannah and this is their second adoption! They have already been blessed with another son from Guatemala named Austin!!
