Happy 10 Months Old Baby Girl!

Today, Savannah turns 10 months old! We cannot believe how the time has flown by and we are hopeful that we will get out of PGN any day now. We're praying to get the call today! We never expected to be waiting this long to bring our daughter home...we fully expected her to be home at 6 or 7 months of age! Now we are well past that and just praying to have her home before her first birthday! The only way we've been able to get through these past 10 months (actually 17 months since we began our adoption process)is because we have had God by our sides every step of the way. We cannot imagine going through something as stressful, unpredictable & emotional as this has been for us without having God to lean on. He is our strength when we are feeling weak. We've had so many ups and downs and there have been times that we've felt hopeless, frustrated, heartbroken, weary, angry, helpless, and many more things. But, every time, God reminds us that He is in control and He knows what is best for all of us. He has promised to bring Savannah home to us in His perfect timing and we are so excited to see His timing revealed! We are filled with hope & peace that our forever family day is coming soon!
