Today marks 12 full weeks in PGN (very similar to the US Attorney General's Office) waiting for approval from the Guatemalan government so we can bring Savannah home forever! We entered PGN on 12/18, were kicked out on 2/2 and resubmitted on 2/2. It has been 6 weeks now since our resubmission date. We are praying that today is the day we get the call that we are OUT of PGN. We have been praying faithfully every day, many times a day, we have all of our family & friends praying for us and a ton of people that we don't even know are praying for us too! We believe that prayer works and that God will hear all of our prayers. We know that He will answer our prayers in His perfect timing and that Savannah is going to join our family soon. We cannot wait for the call and we will be sure to tell everyone as soon as we are OUT of PGN! This is the last major step in our adoption process and once we are OUT of PGN, our attorney will request a new birth certificate which will have Savannah's given birth name and our last name on it. Then our attorney will request a new passport & submit our case to the US Embassy for our PINK slip. The PINK slip is our invitation to go to Guatemala and bring Savannah home with us to the United States. On our "pick-up" trip to Guatemala, we will have an interview at the US Embassy, Savannah will see an Embassy physician and we will receive all of the necessary paperwork to bring her into the United States! We are so excited that we are getting so close to our "forever family day!"

Keely,
I just KNOW you will be getting that call soon. I've only been in a little over 2 weeks, and the waiting is killing me already.
Hugs to you,
